We have looked at a previous music video as this group had the same problem as us of the person who is the main character not being able to play the guitar and to see how they got round this problem. In their video they hide the fact that the main character can not play a guitar as they do not have any full shots of the character playing the guitar, they have quick shots of him playing either the chords or strumming and also they do not leave the camera on him playing the guitar for a prolonged period of time.
Not showing any full shots and only showing him strumming or playing chords masks the fact he can't play as it means that he only has to use one hand during the shot which means that it is more simple for the actor to play it as it only has one thing to concentrate on. Also not having prolonged shots helps to cover this up as it means he doesn't worry about performing with the guitar for too long.
